Hi. I’m Grant, a Portland-based designer and creative director.

I’m a multidisciplinary designer (AKA “generalist”) so I do all the things, but I tend to focus on branding and digital experiences. I work directly with clients to match their goals with visual themes, communication strategies, and design systems that fit just right. When leading teams, I steer toward meeting those same goals, while ensuring alignment with clear objectives and an overarching vision.

Most recently, that included delivering energy-efficiency initiatives with CLEAResult, heading up design at Wirecutter, and working independently with a variety of new startups, legacy businesses, agencies, political campaigns, and nonprofits.
