scalED ('skāl–əd) is a growth accelerator for early-stage education non-profits. They offer an immersive, year-long program of coaching, strategic planning, and guided implementation, as well as other services associated with funding educational programs.
Navigating financial and government bureaucracies can be daunting, so the logo and its supporting elements had two important jobs:
1. Visually convey a simple, approachable alternative way to build momentum in a world of academic bureaucracy.
2. Hint at and reinforce the correct pronuciation of the organization‘s portmanteau (scale + education).
