The small but mighty Annenberg-backed research and development wing of KUSC & KDFC a mandate to explore new ways to give lovers of classical music more of what they want.
For a series of projects, subbrands, including mobile apps, podcasts, interactive websites, and alternative funding strategies for publicly-funded radio, a look and feel was need to distinguish from the conventional and communicate their mission of progressive innovation, while just (barely) landing within the bounds of the University of Southern California’s more traditional brand guidelines➚.
